   The violin arrived safely this morning. It's a gorgeous instrument. The tuning pegs have an internal mechanism that works well. It was easy to get tuned up. I played a couple of tunes. It sounds to me like a fine wooden violin. The strings play with an even temper, just as a good violin should. The set up was done very nicely. The ribs are a little shorter than my German violins, yet the instrument has a full, clear voice that projects very well. I am going to enjoy playing this.
